Theater Projects
THEATER FOR HEALING
Developed a project focusing on the immigrant community with the intent to offer a creative and safe space for them to work in collaboration with each other and develop a sense of community.
THEATER FOR CHANGE
Developed a project to work with the youth using theater techniques: role play, process drama, image theater and other applied theater techniques. The topics included: body image, domestic violence, power dynamics, privilege, heritage, culture, discrimination and traditions.
THEATER & COMMUNITY
Worked in collaboration with another Teaching Artist as part of the residency Program at Emerson College. Designed and co-facilitated Theatre workshops based on the Theatre of the Oppressed techniques. The topics included: bullying prevention, conflict resolution, self-esteem, body image and race.
