She focuses on  techniques that engage body, mind and emotion in the process of connecting with the self and with each other. She has developed projects and lead workshops to  a diverse group of people in non-theatrical settings such as non-profit organizations and health clinic. She is committed to make theater accessible to everyone. By collaborating with other artists and professionals, who are dedicated in shedding a light and amplifying the voices of marginalized individuals who are forgotten and experiencing  injustice, racism, violence, and oppression, Alessandra hopes to be part of the change.  One of her latests projects is her tv show, A Hora da Poetisa, where she works as the producer and presenter. With this project, she wants to enhance the visibility of members of the Brazilian community, who are engaged in social projects worldwide and are making a positive impact.
